Hammerfall return with new album ,

 Two years ago, Swedish Heavy Metal Templars HAMMERFALL announced a creative break after celebrating their 15th anniversary of thear legendary debut Glory To The Brave. "We are taking a pause to ensure that we have another 15 years ahead of us", said Oscar Dronjak back then. "The plan is to use the year off to recharge our batteries and come back more vital than ever with a new album in 2014″, added singer Joacim Cans.

HAMMERFALL's anniversary show in Dalhalla was recorded and released afterwards on DVD, followed by the final show at the Wacken Open Air. The German festival was the first show HAMMERFALL ever did outside of Sweden, and marked the beginning of the long and passionate relationship the band has enjoyed with the German metal fans. But they are the returning right there : HAMMERFALL are proud to announce their performance at the 25th anniversary of the 2014 Wacken Open Air. Oscar Dronjak explains: "It's very fitting that, when Wacken celebrates its 25th anniversary, they will get a proper Glory To The Brave anniversary show. This will be a throwback show to the European gig that launched it all for us: Wacken Open Air 1997. The set list will consist of all the songs from the first album and we'll of course add some newer songs at the end. We will do this very unique show at Wacken and nowhere else, so if you miss it, you missed it."

In August 2014 also the new and yet untitled studio album of HAMMERFALL will be released. There will also be a single ,released on vinyl and digitally, upfront in June. Oscar Dronjak reveals: "We've all kept ourselves busy with various projects of a musical nature, but, man, it feels good to finally announce that we’re going to release a new HAMMERFALL album next year! The album is set for an August release, and we have already begun writing songs for it. It's always difficult to tell which direction we will end up going in when you're in the middle of it, but it feels like this will be a mix of the very best of what we have done over the years. The time off has given us perspective on a lot of things, and the new material seems to reflect this. We’re all super excited to get this going again and bring you a revitalized and reenergized HAMMERFALL!"

This new album will mark a return to Fredrik Nordström, who worked with the band in their early days. 

This won’t be the only return to the bands roots. The artwork of the new record will be created by no one else, but Andreas Marschall, who actually was the founder of Hector, to be seen on Glory To The Brave and many other great HAMMERFALL artworks.

"You probably know already that we've finally released the Glamtron album. We've been getting very encouraging feedback.  Actually, some (of the comments) are almost scary.  (Here is one from) a British record company representative after he got the CD by mail:

"It’s been on all day, really like it, it’s been going down well in the office I can tell you. There’s bits of Dragonforce, Reckless Love, Dream Evil and even Steel Panther for good measure, lol..."

We are in negotiations of getting it released by them on license.  Also  other European countries have shown their interest. We hope to get it released in the USA also. We have our foot in the door for that one too.

Hopefully our many years of hard work will finally pay off. We are keeping our fingers crossed, and why not even our eyes. What a Face God is great. All the glory to Him. He has blessed us big time!

 The gothic-doom metal band Paradise Lost and Metal Hammer have teamed-up to premiere of the new lyric video of the song "Solitude remains" taken from the "Tragic Illusion 25 (in Antiques) 'forthcoming album.
   The album will be released on October 21 in Europe and digitally on 5 November in North America. All songs found in this compilation are previously released rare, except new track "Solitude remains" and just recorded "Gothic 2013" and "2013 Our Savior."

The organizers of the Bloodstock festival have confirmed that Megadeth have been added to the 2014 bill .
Megadeth's Dave Mustaine commented: "2014 is the 20th Anniversary for 'Youthanasia', and we are celebrating that by headlining the Bloodstock Festival in the glorious UK. Red Bull Records will reissue the band's rapturously received debut 'Filthy Empire' on November 25th with bonus tracks including live recordings from their sold out show at London's 100 Club earlier this year, as well as live footage from their electric set at the 2013 Download Festival.

  Vixen's guitarist Jan Kuehnemund died on 10 October at the age 51 after the battle with cancer.
Jan was born on 18 November 1961 in Minnesota and formed Vixen in 1980. The band became part of the LA Rock scene in the 80's and were hailed as "the female Bon Jovi". After signing to EMI, the albums 'Vixen' and 'Rev It Up' ensured significant coverage on MTV and several hit singles.
Jan's fantastic heavy guitar playing was a key to their success and popularity. These girls looked and sounded great and earned their place in Metal history.

After the original line up disbanded in the early 90's, there were reunions in 1997 and 2001 with line-up changes, followed by an appearance by the original four on VH1's "Bands Reunited" in 2004.
Vixen toured the world and were also in demand for support slots for Ozzy Osbourne, Deep Purple, KISS and the Scorpions.
Jan had arranged to reunite the original band members once more in 2013, but her cancer diagnosis stopped any official announcement. Unfortunately this final reunion could not happen, and nine months after diagnosis she passed away.

Theocracy : THEOCRACY reissue details revealed :
Press Release / self-titled debut album by Athens, Georgia- based melodic metal band theocracy will be reissued in Ulterium Records on November 15 in Europe and 19 November in North America.
THEOCRACY drummer Shawn Benson recorded drums on all the tracks , and nothing is overwritten. Matt Smith again completely mixed the album with the absorption handled by Mika Jussila (STRATOVARIUS, NIGHTWISH, EDGUY). The album debuted theocracy was originally released in Records Metal Ages in 2003, and is now very rare and hard to find.

The musicians of the epic metal Folkearth anounced the lost of their frontman Ruslanas Danisevskis (Metfolvik).The singer was died by cancer after one and half year strong battle with the disease- R.I.P.Ruslanas Danisevkis was part of the bands Ravenclaw and Folkodia also.
